Looks very interesting and would like to know more about the next steps you will take. Will you build some software to implement these ideas ? Are you willing to discuss it ? If you want feedback and some help when building it, just let me know.

Thanks all for the feedback, I really appreciate it. I'll probably build some software as the project but where I'm going with this isn't sure yet. The feedback on my current project idea wasn't really possitive. I had the idea of making one profile page out of all your web 2.0 communities(f.e. flickr, del.icio.us, last.fm, blog,...). Seeing your blog posts, flickr photo's and del.icio.us tags on one portal. Then you can group yourself with other people, so you get thematic blogging groups a bit like web 2.0 workgroup but then in a platform where everybody can register and group with everybody else.
My next steps are finishing my literature study, and write my conclusions down.
I would love some feedback and would love to discuss it, the more opinions the better. Maybe I even can organize a group discussion about it ;)
Anyway thanks, don't have a lot of time now, because we're going to the Ardennen for the weekend. Brainstorming about communities! I'll definatelly get back to you guys, it's great you want to help me out.

Don't loose track!! Seems you got the attention of some of us. So we'll check for more. :)
Anyway, here is a blog that combines blogging, flickr, blogradio, and some more. The only thing is that it's not customizable for others.
And I saw that you are studing at C-MD. One of my colleagues went there as well. (Patrick Aelbrecht)
Have fun in the Ardennen.

[...] Last week during my presentation of my thesis subject. One of my lectures asked me: “What is the WEB 2.0? Isn’t it nothing more then a hype?” I hated that question, I wouldn’t have tought that I had to explain the true existence of the WEB 2.0. But it was a good question, because it kept me critical. I have to admit, it was pretty difficult to come up with an explanation that really made it sound great. As a user of a lot of WEB 2.0 apps it’s sometimes difficult to stay objective. These kind of articles and critical teachers really help keeping your realistic view on things. It’s like in politics, you have a left and a right wing, they have to find a balance. Links: [...]

One last thing that might be helpful. I read an article about Web 2.0 in a magazine called Inside (check your local dealer, it's a Belgian magazine). It explained what it is, what it does, and what and for who it's for in a language everyone understands. I am sure you know what it is and does and everything about it, but this article even surprised me.
